Travel Posters: A Tourist's Delight

This blog discusses how I can sum up most of my travelling experiences with posters related to travel on my wall and how posters in travel agencies and other commercial places give you a good insight into travelling.

Travelling has always been a hobby of mine that I don't get much time to delve into. It is an activity that requires a lot of time, money and plus the availability of someone to travel with. However, I am still not saying that that with my budgeted income, I have found no time at all to quench my thirst for travelling. I have explored many parts of the world often backpacking and tight budgeted, tries the prawns in Thailand and octopuses in Malaysia. I visit the the Tower of London in England and the land of Robin Hood, in Nottingham where I specially went to see Nottingham Castle overlooking the river Trent.

So much can be gained as such from travelling and can be an enjoyable experience. But what do you do afterwards? Any memorabilia from all the trips taken except photographs or basic itinerary. I'm really not for those offered in the gift shop as they cost a lot of money. But hey, I can always spend on travel posters. Since travelling abroad is a hobby among many, travel posters bring with them great amount of memories. I just like to pin up a poster of the London skyline over my wall in order to cherish and reminisce over my visit. Or may I hang a poster of the maps of Malaysia that are provided by the Country's official Tourism board?

It is usually fun to see travel posters in travel agencies and airports. It gives you a good idea about he place, the sky light in the background informs you about the weather and large buildings and skyscrapers in panoramic view travel posters give you an excellent idea of whether the place is chilled out one or it has a lot of buzz and Night-life. Whatever it may be, travel posters for sure make up my day!
